Space Force season 2 will not land on Netflix this July. We are not going to watch second season of the series next month.

Starring Steve Carell who also starred in the workplace sitcom The Office, Space Force made its debut on the popular streaming platform back in May 2020. The series follows a special branch of the United States Army called the Space Force. This special division of the U.S. Army is focused on landing on the moon as soon as possible. Though they are not the only ones in the space race and there are also other countries trying to land on the moon. As the head of the Space Force, Mark Naird (Steve Carell) tries to find a way to complete the mission of the branch while also having funny quarrels with other politicians.

The series received positive reviews from the audience. So the streaming giant has confirmed the show for another season back in July 2020. But it has been a year since we last heard about Space Force season 2. The fans of the comedy series starring Steve Carell are waiting eagerly to watch the new episodes.

Unfortunately, the show will not land on the popular streaming platform this July. What is the release date for the second season though?

The second season will not be on our favourite streaming service next month. Netflix has shared the upcoming shows and series in July 2021 and Space Force is not among the returning series. That is unfortunate as we have been waiting for almost a year for the Netflix Original series.

On the other hand, we know that the production of Space Force season 2 is in the works. The actors and actresses of the series shared a photo in May 2021 from the set. Despite the pandemic-related restrictions, the production is underway and the second season is officially happening. With that said, we probably won’t see Space Force season 2 this summer. We might as well wait for early 2022 to finally watch the new episodes.

The first season of the show consisted of 10 episodes that are available to watch right now. There are no official details regarding the second season and the number of episodes in it. Though it will probably be the same as the previous season.

Netflix or the official social media accounts of the series have not made any announcements about the cast of the new season. As of June 2021, we do not know whether there will be new faces in the show. Though we are sure that Steve Carell (General Mark Naird), John Malkovich (Dr Adrian Mallory), Jimmy O. Yang (Dr Chan Kaifang) and Tawny Newsome (Captain Angela Ali) will return in the new episodes as they are the leading characters of the show.
