There are some TV scandals that would forever live in our consciousness, no matter how many years have passed. For example, the 2009 VMAs incident. The controversy was so big that publications and fans continue to visit the scandal every few months, even after 14 years. 2009 VMAs was probably the worst night for Taylor Swift. Not only did Kanye West take away her thunder, but that was also the first time she became a pop culture victim. Several stars openly voiced their distaste for Ye&#8217;s behavior. However, Kelly Clarkson was the only one to deliver some sick burns to the &#8216;Donda&#8217; rapper. 
For the unversed, Taylor Swift won the Best Music Video by a Female Artist award at the 2009 VMAs. While she was up on stage, giving her acceptance speech, Kanye West snatched her mic away. He disagreed with the outcome and proclaimed that Beyoncé had the best music video with her Single Ladies (Put a ring on it) single. The incident sent shockwaves through the industry. Following that, Kelly Clarkson penned down her thoughts on a sad man like West. She roasted the producer, explaining his erratic behavior as a man indicating his rough childhood.

The &#8216;Stronger&#8217; hitmaker slammed the father of the &#8216;Gold Digger&#8217; singer for embarrassing a teenage musical artist on her greatest night. Clarkson surprised herself with how passionately she disliked the rapper. She took a jab at him when she claimed that the best part of the night was that he wasn&#8217;t nominated for the award. Yet he had to ruin the moment with his tactless act. She took another swipe at him when she urged him to have her moon award and learn to be happy for others. Ultimately, she ended the note with a shout out to both Taytay and Queen Bey.
