Courtney Love recently sat down with Marc Maron on his WTF podcast, to talk about her upcoming album. During the conversation, she praised the six-time Grammy-nominated singer Lana Del Rey. She said that her late husband Kurt Cobain and Lana are the two greatest musicians she has ever known.

Moreover, she compared both these musicians to the greatest American director, Steven Spielberg.

“She’s a genius, too. She’s got the integrity that Kurt had. The only two people I know that I can say [that about],” explained the Straight to Hell star. Love has been closely associated with the Honeymoon singer and has previously toured with her in support of the latter’s 2014 album Ultraviolet.
Love shared how she loves artists like Billie Joe Armstrong, but Del Ray has a magic. And since the Sid and Nancy star told the Young and Beautiful singer to not go insane, the former feels the latter has been able to maintain her sanity. Love was especially appreciative of Del Ray getting out of the overculture and deleted her social media accounts.
