In 2013’s Man of Steel, fans saw Jonathan Kent, Clark Kent’s father, stuck in a car. He died there while Clark offered to help him. However, he denied his son’s help, and later; the fans witnessed Superman saving a lot of lives. Yet, he had to go through a bunch of chaotic situations. Fans talked about the irony of his life as he could save everyone but his father. A social media user posted a clip from the film where Superman saved a girl and wrote, “This is why Jonathan Kent didn’t want Clark to save him in Man of Steel.”
This is why Jonathan Kent didn’t want Clark to save him in Man of Steel and this is SUCH a realistic take on how humanity would actually be if we had a Superman pic.twitter.com/uaULstJxpy

The user pointed out how the film showed a realistic take on humanity, and how the world would actually be if we had superheroes. On this Earth, every act is a political act, said a writer in the film. Because Kal-El is a character who is larger-than-life, people started debating over him and his intentions. Kent’s father, Jonathan Kent, did not let his son save him because he understood the fate of humanity before Superman even came out into the world.
As the clip from the film resurfaced, a fan wrote, “People hate what they don’t understand,” which was a dialogue from Clark’s mother. All Superman fans discussed the irony of the Man of Steel’s life.
Fans bring in the irony of the fate of Superman
While fans fell in love with Zack Snyder’s take on the man with a cape, they also loved how his human parents treated him. They praised Johnathan’s treatment of Clark Kent while praising the beauty of the scene, too. One fan pointed out how this clip represents how this version of Superman is viewed by the fandom, the lynch mob, and the worshippers.
Both the lynch mob and the worshipers. It's ironic too. Kind of a reflection of how people actually view this version. Hate it (blindly imo) or love it.

Zack Snyder’s trilogy is literal perfection.

The stunning thing about Snyder’s DC films for me is how he’s able to make these fairly typical comic book scenes into something recognizable but still like new.
This scene, the Wayne murders, the Battle of Smallville, the parademons just showing up in the Knightmare. Wow

Jonathan's behaviour with, towards, and for Clark was perfection. People wanted him to be the dad with all the answers. And that doesn't work with a normal father/son, and certainly wouldn't be a proper take in this situation.

This scene is pure genius! I love it so so much! Man, there is no other Superman iteration for me other than the Zack Snyder's.

I feel like it’s especially realistic with the people reaching out to touch him. Maybe I’m over thinking it but I just realized a potential connection to that clip and the Bible’s Luke 8:43-44.

While fans could not stop gushing over the beauty of this scene, a fan even brought out the connection of Kal-El with Jesus as well. They agreed with the actions of Kal-El and praised him.
