How Guillermo gave a hilarious Will Smith refresher at the 2023 Oscar
The Jimmy Kimmel Live hosts basically took over the Academy Awards ceremony this year, be it on the stage or on the carpet. In a fancy gold suit with a bow, Guillermo Rodriguez fished on the champagne carpet to interview his favorite celebrities. While interviewing in his own quirky style, he came across singer and actor Lenny Kravitz. To start off his trap joke, he told the singer how his wife is a big fan of his. The presenter then asked the singer to look at the camera and call his wife’s name Sarah, and the entertainer happily obliged.
With his smile still wide, Guillermo then asked Kravitz to do a favor. “What’s that?” asked the ‘Low’ singer. “Can you keep my wife’s name out of your f*cking mouth?” he replied, pulling off the Will Smith joke. Considering how it was the trending line of 2022, the singer laughed it off as well.

The infamous dialogue came out of Will Smith’s mouth along with the slap as Chris Rock made fun of Jada Pinkett Smith. A proud Jimmy Kimmel shared Guillermo’s clip with his audience after returning from being an Oscar host to being the talk show’s host.
Jimmy Kimmel also did not spare the slapgate incident in his Oscar monologue
Kimmel was likely prepared for any problems in case he offends someone. But he still took a jibe at last year’s Best Actor winner and mentioned how there is a security team if anyone chooses to attack him for an offensive joke. The Oscars this year was not only unique for many first-time winners, but with the double entertainment of Kimmel and Rodriguez.
