It is no secret to the world that the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle did not quite fit into the royal mold of the UK Sovereign. Like her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana the Duchess could never really run lines along with her in-laws, which often stemmed from some never-ending controversies. Although the world keeps a tab on what’s up with the royal family, hardly does anyone know what goes on inside the palace doors. 

Speaking of the Duchess and her relationships with the palace members, there have been quite a number of flabbergasting revelations made in the past few months. However, the late Queen, who was the most accepting of the American Duchess, also had a dreaded awkward moment with Meghan Markle. 

As reported by the Mirror, a new bombshell royal biography has come up with some stirring anecdotes between the now-estranged royals. The book by eminent author Robert Jobson recalls some initial moments from the time Meghan Markle stepped into the royal family. To get accustomed to the Palace’s ways and its ethics, the Queen apparently suggested to Markel to seek advice from Princess Sophie, the Countess of Wessex.

In her reply to the same, Markle stated, “I have Harry,” for that matter, as claimed by the book. The biography, Our King, further reveals that the Queen was surprised at this remark. Although the Queen knew how important she was to her youngest grandson, such a blatant reply from a new entrée to the family was quite unexpected for her.

Speaking of the Duchess, Jobson also narrated how she had some strained ties with the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton. Although the disputes continue to this day, the two royal women had something way more unsettling in the past. In a recent scenario, Kate Middleton apparently had a hard time with Meghan Markle. That was likely the last time they came face to face in a while.

In the Queen’s funeral walkabout, Kate Middleton found walking along with the Sussex royal, “one of the hardest things she’d ever had to do.” The book dropped much more similar explosive truth bombs throughout the chapters. Further revelations are yet to be made.
