Fans Give Their Verdict on the Latest Adaptation of ‘I Got Cheat Skill in Another World’

Fans have given their verdict on I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too. The manga adaptation was finally released this April, years after the original novel came into being. With the global penetration of the anime genre, more and more Japanese novels, comics, or manga are being converted into anime. While it sticks to its original source for the story, changing times portray it through progressed technology and quality.

The latest one in the collection is the Crunchyroll-licensed adaptation of Ryō Kotohira. It is an illustration work of Kazuomi Minatogawa and animated by Millepensee. The show’s opening theme is set by Tsukuyomi and is called Gyakuten Geki, while the Hachimitsu closing theme is set by Shikao Suga. Akari Kito, Kaori Maeda, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka make up the anime’s main cast.

An anime fan took to Twitter to share his experience and first review of the latest release. “That was a fun first episode too,” remarked the fan. The viewer admired the show’s production as well as the soundtrack. They also noted how the character does not go through the normal Isekai route, but goes back and forth through the worlds.

ULTIMATE PRODUCE by TMS GOAT, but seriously I was really surprised by the trailers and to think it came out of Millepense nonetheless. They got screwed over many times by their previous producers so it's nice to finally see them shine for once.

Another one admired the anime for being well-written. While Kotohira wrote the initial stories, the anime is the work of Shin Itagaki.
Regarding the Isekai, one fan pointed out how this show is more like a portal fantasy. So far, only one episode has been released with the next one set to drop on 14th April. The anime is expected to garner more audience as the series progresses.
