Millie Bobby Brown famously plays the character of Eleven in the sci-fi series Stranger Things. She has been very committed to her role in the series. She shaved her hair to go with the character’s appearance in the series, and this proved her commitment to the role. But she did something else that proved that point, and it has caught the attention of her fans.

Yes, Millie does have a ‘011’ tattoo on her hand. The actress is sometimes tagged as being too mature for her age, and she carries the tag proudly. So when Stranger Things turned her world upside down, Millie Bobby Brown decided to get a tattoo on the show. It is a permanent tattoo with the number ‘011’, dedicating it to her character Eleven in the show. The very heartwarming gesture didn’t go unnoticed. The tattoo is carved on her left arm, making it clearly visible.

In the series, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) experiments called the Project MKUltra had multiple test subjects giving birth after being subjected to psychedelic drugs for long periods. Jane Ives was one of the babies born and Dr Martin assigns her the number eleven with a ‘011’ tattoo. Martin also starts calling her Eleven, making it her defacto name since her childhood. The tattoo goes on to become a central part of Eleven and her character growth, always keeping her attached to her roots in the Hawkins Lab. So, it makes sense why Millie chose to get ‘011’ tattooed on her hand.
