The rivalry between Meghan Markle and her half-sister Samantha Markle is getting fierce day by day. Following the Duchess’ exit from the royal family in January 2020, her stepsister has been bashing her publicly. Samantha Markle again seemed unimpressed with the content of the Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, as she called out the former actress for spewing lies regarding their late grandmother.

While speaking about the Queen in the docuseries, Meghan Markle recalled her good days with her own grandmother. As per the Duchess, she was extremely close to her father’s mother, Doris May Rita Sanders, and was her caretaker in the last days of her life. The claims by the Duchess have not gone well with Samantha Markle and she brutally slammed her sister.

Samantha Markle reflects on the relationship between Meghan Markle and their grandmother 

Samantha Markle refused Meghan Markle’s claims of taking care of their grandmother. While calling the docuseries a “$100 million fake news PR machine”, the author described it as comical. She added that Markle’s fake narration of her good relationship with their late grandmother was the last straw for her. 

“The whole grandmother thing, that just did it for us. I think my grandmother would be rolling over in her grave if she saw that. Meghan Markle didn’t take care of her, she visited her,” Samantha Markle said in her appearance at Fox News.

She further revealed the truth behind Markle making apple butter with their grandmother Doris Sanders. The screenwriter called it a blatant lie. As per Samantha Markle, Sanders made apple butter in the 1970s. At that time, the Duchess was not even born, thus the chances of her doing that activity are far-fetched. 

Meanwhile, in the Netflix show, Meghan Markle also addressed her controversial relationship with her half-sister. The former actress revealed that she does not know Samantha Markle’s birth date or middle name. She also has no memories of seeing her stepbrother and stepsister at her father’s home in childhood.
