Fans are not ready to let go of Zack Snyder so soon. The director undoubtedly gave DC, some of the best superhero movies. He gave the fans what they wanted and helped the actors and the company gain success as they competed against Marvel’s vast world. He cast Henry Cavill in Man of Steel, giving him the biggest break of his career while giving fans their Superman for the next decade.

Thereon he went on to direct superhits Justice League, Batman vs Superman, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and Batman vs Superman, etc. Unfortunately, the death of his daughter forced him to take a break, but fans still miss him. Especially today as Henry Cavill broke hearts and announced that he no longer will play Superman.

Bidding goodbye to any of our superheroes is not easy. Although Superman is not permanently out, Henry Cavill announced that he will not be reprising his role in Man of Steel 2. For months the news of the sequel kept fans on their toes, but the plan has officially been dropped. This has angered a lot of fans who already miss Zack Snyder and want him to bring Superman’s glory back. Fans are appreciating his eye for detail that he had and the memories from his former movies.

The decision of scrapping Henry Cavill from Man of Steel 2 came after a meeting with James Gunn. The newest heads of DC, James Gunn, and Peter Safran want to make changes in the DC world as they compete with Marvel. Gunn will himself write a Superman movie, but without Henry Cavill in it. They are still working on a ten-year plan for DC as they explore the characters of Justice League in depth.

It is possible that DC did not want to take risks after the failure of Black Adam in cinemas, although Cavill teased fans with a cameo in the movie. Although less likely, DC would perhaps listen to fans and bring back Zack Snyder.
