The WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes have taken over Hollywood and created a tense atmosphere all over the industry. While writers and actors have been standing in the picket lines together, many show creators have also joined them, including Cobra Kai representatives. On the one hand, fans have been waiting for the final season to drop. And on the other hand, the creators have stopped production in order to support the strikes. However, amidst fan disappointment, Jon Hurwitz sends a hopeful message to the fandom.
There are several shows and movies that saw the effects of the ongoing strikes. Some of them got canceled while others paused the productions. Several Netflix shows, including The Witcher, Stranger Things, Cobra Kai, and more, are also facing a production pause. Meanwhile, Hurwitz, who has been keeping fans optimistic throughout these tough times, recently posted a picture of the show’s poster.
The picture has “Don’t forget to finish Cobra Kai” written on the poster. And Hurwitz posted it on his X handle with the caption, “I haven’t forgotten! The moment SAG and the WGA get fair deals, we’ll get right back to work on that!”

Along with their unwavering love and support, fans also expressed to see their favorite characters win in season 6. One of the users suggested the ’80s’ music the team could use in the next season, too. Another one expressed his excitement for the completion of 40 years of Miyagi-verse in 2024 as well.
Love the show. I don't know if it will fit in season 6 but a few songs by Beast In Black might be good. They have a 80's metal sound but they have been around for a few years now.

We have no doubt, Jon 🥰 I’m sure, when CK6 finally rolls around, it’s gonna feel like a true EVENT for fans! 🥳 This won’t just be CK’s final season, it’ll also be about celebrating 40 YEARS of the Miyagi-verse, once we hit 2024! ❤️🙏HOPEFULLY it’ll be Johnny’s swan-song too 🫶
