Meanwhile, it is the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan that has been in the news for the entire month. The show broke viewership records as it garnered a whopping 81.55 million watch hours in the first week. The much-hyped series had a dream debut, as it appeared in the top ten on the American streaming giant in 85 countries. However, there has been some disappointment for Meghan Markle as well. After a dream run, the Duchess would not be happy with her mention in the year-ending list by Joanna Weiss.
Weiss slams Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the docuseries
The renowned editor Joanna Weiss came up with a post called, 2022 Is the Year We All Finally Got Tired of Narcissists. The column saw the journalist putting Meghan Markle on the same list as Kanye West, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Sam Bankman-Fried. Weiss branded Markle as a narcissist for coming up with a Netflix show that puts her on a pedestal. As per the editor, in the docuseries, the Duchess depicted that “there is no one more in love, no one more socially conscious and no one more aggrieved”.

“My sympathy for the couple started turning to irritation, and it occurred to me that ego has its limits,” Joanna Weiss was quoted as saying in her column for Politico.
The writer claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently benign as compared to the other people mentioned on the list. In the post, she called out Elon Musk for making Twitter a terror while also criticizing FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried for fraud and crimes. Weiss further slammed Nick Fuentes and Kanye West for going to dinner at Donald Trump’s residence.
