Presenting an award along with someone you have worked with is fun. However, presenting an award along with someone with whom you’ve never worked, is even more fun. Recently, Jenna Ortega and Aubrey Plaza proved the latter at the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Ortega is known for her performance in the Netflix Original series, Wednesday. And Aubrey Plaza is Emily the Criminal star. Both these actresses presented the award together and fans could not stop gushing over their chemistry. 

While presenting the award to the Male Actor in a Television/Movie or Limited Series, they wondered why they were paired together. “We have nothing in common,” said the Wednesday star. As they wondered, Plaza said they should find the people who did this. Only in a matter of seconds, Jenna Ortega said, “And curse their families and,” and Plaza finished the sentence with: “And curse their families and watch as misfortune follows their bloodline for the next seven generations.”

While their chemistry made everyone present at the ceremony laugh, fans could not stop wooing these two. Even Netflix’s official account posted the picture of the two actresses with the caption suggesting that Plaza and Ortega should join forced in Wednesday season 2. This certainly makes us and the fans wonder if the makers would actually consider it.

The White Lotus, starring the 38-year-old actress, also follows the revelations of the dark secrets and twisted truths of the guests, the staff, and the locale of a resort. While Plaza has also been a part of a thriller show, fans would love to see Ortega and her together.
