The Chicago rapper has a huge fan following for his extraordinary music. Therefore, when he released ‘Donda,’ it did extremely well on both Apple Music and Spotify. However, while creating the music for his 10th studio album, Ye threatened to cut Jay-Z’s verse from the album along with several artists as well.

Ye is known for doing things the way he likes. Therefore, he expects people to follow his methods as well. After creating his album, ‘Donda,’ Ye arranged a listening party for the album. In a leaked behind-the-scenes clip, we can hear Ye talking about cutting artists off from the album. As reported by Hiphop DX, Ye threatened to remove anyone who would not attend the listening party, including Jay Z.

The leaked documentary footage sees Ye’s unique creative process. He also talks about how his late mother, Donda West, was the inspiration behind the album. Also, he delivers speeches while expressing his gratitude for the spiritual power within himself. Ye also goes down memory lane to remember his childhood days in the Chicago house, too. Although during this specific part in the leaked clip, Ye revealed he wanted everyone’s presence at the listening party while talking over the phone in the locker room. And if not, he is going to remove everyone’s verses, including Jay-Z.
Despite the threat, Ye kept Jay-Z’s verse and his fans loved it so much. Nevertheless, the rap mogul cut several verses off from his album. And the artists expressed their disappointments as well.
How did other artists react after getting snubbed by Kanye West?
As soon as the album hit the streaming platform, and fans heard the album, they became disappointed when they realized many verses were deleted. In his album, Ye replaced Hov with DaBaby in the third and last show. He got criticism for it as well. Pusha T and Kid Cudi, along with Soulja Boy and Chris Brown’s verses, also got chopped from the album.

As Ye released the album, Soulja Boy took it to Twitter to express his disappointment. He used foul words to showcase his anger and posted his scraped verse in the song ‘Remote Control’ on his social media as well. Breezy also used intense foul words to express anger for cutting down the verse.

However, Ye brutally responded to Soulja Boy’s outburst as well. Nevertheless, the Yeezy owner made some artists extremely upset, excluding Jay-Z.
