The world of cinema takes you places. Every production involves shots and scenes set up in various parts of the globe. Furthermore, pair it up with the struggles of a young blood trying to make it big in the industry and the results would either be broken dreams or some of the biggest stars to have ever graced the screens. In his quest for eking out a name for himself, Henry Cavill ended up being one of the most beloved names in Hollywood and beyond.

He did have his fair share of struggles. However, there is one that he begs to complain about, but fans are happy that it happened.

Henry Cavill cannot help but be shirtless

The 40-year-old British actor took over the big screens back in 2013 with Man of Steel. The audience was in awe at a shirtless Cavill demoing his sheer stature and brute strength. While fans absolutely adored it every other time a ripped-up Cavill showed up on screen, the actor did not feel very pleased with it. In an interview with Elle Magazine back in February 2016, the actor opened up on confronting the producers with the question, “Why the f*ck am I shirtless?”

The incident happened when the actor was filming The Tudors from 2007 to 2010. At one point in filming, his character had gotten pensive. Yet, the producers still wanted him to go shirtless and ride a horse. Questioning their logic with the question, the answer he received was simply because “people love it.” Branded as a “publicity shot,” a shirtless shot of the actor has occurred in nearly every venture he was ever a part of from DC to Netflix’s The Witcher.

Regardless, the actor has quite grown used to his stature. Moreover, as he moves over to more demanding projects, he might have to bulk up once more.

Let us say if there was one universal truth that the 21st-century cinema-goers agree on, it would be that Henry Cavill is Superman. Even after his exit from DC, his character’s demands still rage in fans’ hearts, so much so that they are willing to see him play a character that is not even Superman. However, the truth remains that the ship has long sailed. As of now, Cavill is up front and center to kick-start franchises.

Despite the meme fest brought upon his latest trailer, the British actor is very much back in action. The next year would see him in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare along with Argylle. Later he would collaborate with his girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso, for Warhammer 40K. Along with those, a Highlander project, The Rosie Project, and a video game are also in his kitty. Thus, it is now time for Cavill to usher in his next shirtless action scene.
