The Archetypes Podcast undoubtedly fetched Duchess Meghan Markle, much fame and glory. Having won the Best Podcast Award, the Duchess strived to win the best host of the same by Gracies. However, all of it ended up going in vain, as the Swedish host called it off for an apparent “lack of content” from its humongous deals.

With the Sussex couple breaching headlines recently, questions like “What exactly is up with the couple” and “What is the reason behind the Sussex fallout” have been hitting the ceilings. The unanswered questions are boggling to the public. With the latest news about the couple losing their major deal with Spotify last week, everyone was left confused. Given the fact, with the numerous awards for Meghan Markle’s podcast, it was allegedly doing well. There was even a demand for a second season of Archetypes.

However, that did not see any daylight as Spotify shut the deal before doing further, with the bosses creating a fuss. Here are some of the reasons straight out of Archetypes that are partially responsible for the downfall of the show.

Uncomfortable situations

The former Suits actress had her best friend Serena Williams on the first episode of Archetypes. The best friend duo was talking about the double standards that women face in their lives. That’s when Prince Harry made an impromptu appearance on the episode. As Meghan Markle invited her spouse to join them, she and Williams poked at Prince Harry by saying ‘hello‘ in a British accent. The Prince replied by asking Williams, “How are you doing? I like what you’ve done with your hair, it’s a great vibe.” The three had an awkward conversation that could not continue for long. And just when the Prince was about to leave, the Duchess bid him an awkward farewell, saying “Thank you, my love” to the Prince.

Intense flattery

World-renowned personalities like Jameela Jamil and Shohreh Aghdashloo joined the Duchess for her podcast. Jameela rushed to her ally’s side and said some sickly sweet things about Meghan Markle. She called the former actress kind and supportive. However, in the very same conversation, she continued to highlight that she was enraged when someone as kind and civilized as Markle was “twisted and represented in a negative light”.

Jameela also said, “It’s an unfathomable amount of s*it that you take Meghan and I can’t believe it“. The Duchess didn’t reply to any of the praises but thanked Jamila for fighting back.
