A Complete Unknown first arrived on streaming through Hulu. Following its departure from the platform, the movie has finally found a new streaming home on HBO Max, arriving May 27. And as per CBR, it can also be expected to continue the same level of success it previously enjoyed in theaters and on streaming. The film earned more than $140 million worldwide against a budget of $70 million.

Later, when it arrived on Hulu, the movie quickly climbed to No. 1 on the platform’s most-watched charts. Its popularity is understandable considering the film’s strong reception, holding an 82% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.3 rating on IMDb.

Directed by James Mangold, the Oscar-nominated film follows singer-songwriter Bob Dylan during the early years of his career and explores his use of electric instruments. It is loosely based on the 2015 book Dylan Goes Electric! by Elijah Wald. While the film was brilliantly written by James Mangold and Jay Cocks, Timothée Chalamet’s performance was equally crucial to the movie’s success.
