Undoubtedly so, the approval ratings of the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle have always hit rock bottom with British tabloids. The majority of them have been facing legal issues for having illegally kept a close tab on the Sussex family. Nonetheless, there are certain publications that have stood tall with Meghan Markle since the beginning. Having aired one of Markle’s biggest bombshell interviews of the era, CBS sent shockwaves around the world riding on the infamous Oprah Winfrey interview. 

The publication then provided a platform for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for laying bare their experiences during their time in Britain. The host publication took the hits of various negative criticisms tagged at the entire team. Nonetheless, it did not stop lending its support to the Sussex couple. A host from the same channel has expressed its staunch support to the Duke and the Duchess. Gayle King, good friends with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said to Page Six, that “Harry and Meghan are living their truth“. 

Appearing at the Time 100 Gala this week. the close friend is of the opinion that the couple will make their “best decision for themselves”. Although they do not, of course, consult her for their decision, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to be doing a pretty good job in the United States. King thinks, “They are very solid” when it comes to living with dignity.

Adding more to their praises, Gayle King told the outlet that so far, none of the decisions taken by the couple has proved detrimental to the pair. “They’re doing what works and what’s best for them,” the CBS co-host said in a recent interview. King has reportedly been an evergreen supporter of Prince Harry Potter and Meghan Markle. Being best friends with Oprah Winfrey, the CBS host came to know about the Sussexes through the media personality herself. 

However, things currently have turned pretty serious regarding the recent lawsuits Prince Harry has filed. The enraged Prince who had witnessed his family suffering because of the notorious tabloids has sued each one of them, asking for a trial. The Daily Mail, Mirror, and the now defunct News Group Newspaper have all been accused of illegal behavior of intruding into the lives of public figures. The verdict of the court is yet to come.
