The royal family has stated that the wedding will be free of charge. While the estimated costs for the cake and florist were almost 160,000 pounds, the food nearly cost 286,000 pounds. The total cost was nearly $30 million.

A year later, we saw the Royal Couple welcome their first child Archie, their eldest son. Following the birth of their firstborn, the couple's life took a whole different route. <h2><strong>Prince Harry's Transition and New Ventures</strong></h2>
Shortly after Prince Harry bid farewell to his royal duties, he stepped foot in multiple industries. The Sussexes confirmed in April 2020 that they would continue their charity endeavors after leaving the royal family through a new foundation called Archewell. The Sussexes gave a statement that the name of the Archewell Foundation was inspired by their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

To make sure they are able to manage their new business ventures, the couple went forward with a New York firm Sunshine Sachs to assist them in their future prospects. To monetize their public visits, the pair entered into an agreement with the Harry Walker agency. September 2020 was an incredibly fruitful month for the pair as Netflix offered them a contract of nearly $20 million.

In the meantime, the couple expanded their portfolios as they collaborated with Spotify to start their own podcasts. Back in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan increased their portfolio by becoming "impact partners" and investors with Ethic, a fintech asset manager in the fast-growing environmental, social, and governance arena.

In a list dominated by self-help books, Prince Harry's memoir Spare became one of the best-selling books of 2023. The book was published on January 11, 2023, and it provided insight into the workings of the British royal family. Spare quickly became the fastest-selling nonfiction book in the United States since 2004. It also earned one of the coveted top three best-sellers in its first week.
<h2><strong>Prince Harry's Advocacy and Philanthropy</strong></h2>
To assist South African country Lesotho's orphans, Prince Harry co-founded the charity Sentebale with Lesotho's Prince Seeiso in 2006. He and his older brother, Prince William, co-founded The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry in 2009. The Foundation's three main goals are to provide counseling and support to underprivileged young people, to raise awareness about sustainable development and environmental protection, and to care for members of the Armed Forces and their families.

The nonprofit, which helps homeless veterans and their families, shared two photos of the royals helping with food packing and delivery. In February 2021, the Sussexes made a donation to Genesis Women's Shelter &amp; Support in Dallas through the Archewell Foundation.

A lesser-known fact about the Prince is that he also volunteered for a veteran charity event held by Walker Family Events Foundation in 2020. He has often been very active in assisting soldiers wounded in Wars for which he even established Invictus Games. One cause dear to Prince Harry's heart is the assistance of wounded soldiers, so he founded the Invictus Games to help them overcome their emotional and physical injuries.

The Loveland Foundation is another branch of the Archwell Foundation. Its cause is to help Black Women suffering from mental health problems and make it more accessible for them. Moreover, the foundation attempts to make therapy sessions available for this who cannot reach out to a doctor otherwise.
<h2><strong> Prince Harry's Personal Life and Hobbies</strong></h2>
While Prince Harry may live most of his life in front of cameras, the Duke of Sussex leads an interesting life beyond it. One of the most loved activities of the duke is skiing. He is a huge fan of winter sports. Moreover, while growing up, he enjoyed hunting. The royal family has often been known for being avid hunters. A lesser-known fact about Prince Harry is that the Prince hates the social media app Twitter. As strange as it sounds, he does not even eat pizza.

Prince Harry is also a keen supporter of sports. Under his name, the Invictus Games were founded back in 2014. The main aim of the event is to provide wounded war veterans both men and women a chance to participate in sporting activities. The event provides a wide multitude of sports ranging from alpine skiing to Nordic Skiing and also wheelchair curling.

Having always been the "rebel" Prince and dominating headlines from a young age for his activities, the Duke of Sussex continues his legacy first through Megxit and now with the way he and his wife capture headlines regularly. He may have stepped away from the royal family but at the core of all his actions is his family: his wife and children.
