Everyone has a doppelgänger and Hollywood is no stranger to it. Over the years, we have witnessed how many stars have their look-alikes in the film industry. Sometimes the resemblance is so convincing that it is difficult for fans to tell them apart. From Margot Robbie and Emma Mackey to Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard, Hollywood is not short on doppelgangers. However, a lesser-known pair of doppelgangers are Ryan Reynolds and Ben Affleck. And previously, the Deadpool star revealed what the fans who thought he was Affleck asked him.

Ryan Reynolds is perhaps one of the most popular faces in Hollywood. The Canadian actor enjoys one of the biggest fan following in the film industry with fans from around the world. However, in a village in east New York, there is a pizza parlor that has mistaken him for Ben Affleck for years now. However, as funny as he is, Reynolds did not clear it with the fans and rather decided to play along.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Reynolds revealed that he does everything normally like everyone else but the parlor still thinks of him as Affleck. Hilarious as it sounds, Reynolds revealed that he jokes along as he answers “Good, Great” when fans ask him about Jennifer Lopez.

During an appearance on Dear Hank and John podcast, the Canadian star revealed that to this day he has never corrected the people at the pizza joint. Moreover, Reynolds admitted he did feel that telling them the truth would not be well received. Interestingly, the actor added the trick to play along with the joke.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Reynolds spoke about how he avoids being talkative to the staff at the pizza parlor. Despite several questions about J’Lo, the actor prefers to not speak much except, “great, good” and moves out with his pizza. Meanwhile, Affleck is not the only star people confuse Reynolds with.
