With hopes for a normal existence completely washed away in the United Kingdom, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shifted to the latter’s native in sunny side California. However, it seems like their hunt for a ‘private’ life is nowhere near over. With ambitions to overdo themselves, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to shift their base within the States. While all sorts of options have surfaced throughout the week, their fellow socialites of Santa Barbara do not seem to be happy with the buzz.
No official confirmation has been received thus far. However, the mere speculations around the shifting of the Sussexes have resulted in a lot of chaos. And that apparently does not run in line with the secluded culture of the Montecito residents.

Word is on the street that, “People are not happy.” Despite the chaos, the neighborhood wants the Sussexes to live in their quiet community, where peace is the ultimate amenity. A couple of other Santa Barbara natives wish the couple not to draw any kind of media fame to Hope Ranch.
The disturbances in the neighborhood, however, are not yesterday’s story for the Sussexes.

This dates back to the time the Duke and Duchess first moved into the Montecito enclave. The story runs true, as is mentioned by a Native US Navy Veteran in his memoir, who happened to live next door to the Sussexes. The 88-year-old penned that carrying forward the culture of Santa Barbara, he wished to gift the couple as a welcome present to their community.

However, prioritizing their privacy, the security guards of their estate turned him down, saying the couple was not interested. He wished to give them a CD which had compilations portraying the history of their sought-after community. Nonetheless, the gesture did not go as planned, leaving the veteran disheartened. The latest updates suggest that the couple is also in talks to shift to Malibu to further expand their business ventures.
