Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have achieved significant success in building the Sussex empire ever since the renunciation of the UK royal family. Following the launch of Archewell Foundation in 2020, the couple has been involved in various philanthropic projects, entertainment partnerships, and charitable activities in the US and abroad and has been continually expanding their endeavors ever since. However, the past few days have brought back-to-back challenges for the duo.
Notably, Meghan Markle's lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, has faced uncertainty due to issues poised to jeopardize the brand's future.

According to an exclusive report by the Daily Mail, Meghan Markle's attempt to trademark her service has been hindered by "irregularities" in her application. Several items, including yoga mats and picnic labels, were incorrectly labeled and needed correction. The US Patents and Trademarks Office identified issues with the classification of yoga blankets, picnic baskets, and recipe books.
The error, detected in July, is estimated to cost $11,382 to fix, reported The Independent. The US Patents and Trademarks Office notified the Sussexes' lawyers of the issues, but there has been no official confirmation from the couple, yet in their official handles or websites. The setback has put a visible dent on Meghan Markle's luxury brand, and its plans for expansion.
Meghan Markle's, however, was not the only issue that the Sussexes have encountered in recent days.

Josh Kettler, Chief of Staff to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has left his position merely three months post joining. Kettler, a seasoned executive accelerator, was recently seen accompanying the couple on a trip to Nigeria. His exit comes as a surprise, given his crucial role in their upcoming overseas tour of Colombia.
Sixth to leave Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s team after 2020, Josh Kettler's departure has raised questions about the inner workings of the Sussex team. The reason for his sudden departure has not been made public as of now. However, with his exit, it is unlikely he will join the duo on the Colombia tour, marking a significant change in their support staff. There have been no comments from the couple on the departure yet.
