A neighbor near their Montecito home shared with HELLO! that the Sussexes spent the holiday with “friends, who are like family". A safe bet among the guests could be Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, who is a staple at their holiday gatherings.
The source also shared that Markle “loves cooking and being in the kitchen” and enjoys teaching Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet about the Thanksgiving traditions she grew up with. The journalist and social activist joined Markle, Prince Harry, and their kids for the feast. This was a part of the Duchess' Thanksgiving family tradition. Markle shared that they always make sure “there’s room at the table for your friends who don’t have family”.

“Every year it gets better,” Markle told Marie Claire of the holiday. She went on to explain how important it is to her that her children experience the “magic” of traditions, like enjoying great recipes that create lasting memories. While details of this year’s Thanksgiving are still very scarce, it is safe to say that despite getting the royal snub again, Markle likely celebrated it with the same heartfelt spirit.
