This exciting sequel will again focus on the Owen sisters and, as per IMDb, will follow their multi-generational family of witches, cursed to be loveless for centuries, attempt to break the spell by confronting dark secrets and sacrificing for each other. The 1998 film Practical Magic was based on Alice Hoffman's novel of the same name.

It revolved around the two Owens sisters born into a long line of witches, the family curse of living a loveless life. Reportedly, this sequel will be based on one of Hoffman’s later books in the Practical Magic series. The exact plot details are under wraps, but fan of the books can place their trust that it movie will follow the literature.

The teaser, though short, is effective and has left the fans in a state of frenzy and anticipation. But they have to wait a little longer and exercise more patience, as the movie has been slated for next year's release, with the confirmed date being on September 18, 2026.
