Meghan Markle has taken on various ventures to sustain her lifestyle after leaving the royal fold. From coming up with celebrity podcasts to signing multi-million dollar deals with streaming giants, Markle has been covering all bases to maintain her relevance beyond her time as a royal. And now the Duchess of Sussex has taken on another “endeavor,” that is likely to broaden her sphere of influence in the world. 

Meghan Markle is now in association with one of the world’s largest talent agencies, William Morris Endeavor. This move led some to speculate whether Markle is planning to expand her career in the fields of UFC or WWE.

Is Meghan Markle getting ready for the Octagon?

The Hollywood Reporter recently shared an update about Meghan Markle being repped by Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, Brad Slater, and Jill Smoller. Additionally, Endeavor will also represent her media company, Archewell, which she runs with her husband Prince Harry. The report also suggested that Markle has no plans of stepping back into the acting realm, which made people wonder if she was gearing up for a revival. However, the publication confirmed that Markle will only invest in film and TV series development and production. 

Apart from that, business and brand partnerships are also on the priority list of the Sussexes which they will execute through Archwell. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have undertaken several partnerships and deals under the banner of their Archewell productions. This also includes their $100 million deal with the OTT giant, Netflix, under which they released the controversial Harry and Meghan.

This deal with Netflix has been very beneficial for the Sussexes who no longer have the shadow of the royals to back them. However, it did not sit well with Prince William. 

Prince William not happy with Prince Harry’s Netflix deal

It is common knowledge that Prince William and Prince Harry are not on good terms. After the Sussexes decided to leave their royal duties behind and carry on with their celebrity life, the brothers grew even more estranged. Prince William reportedly detests Netflix for exploiting the royals for their content. The Crown, which showcased the reign of Queen Elizabeth, has allegedly fine-tuned the show in many ways to enhance its entertainment value. 

When his brother went on to sign a deal with a company that Prince William believes “ruthlessly exploited” the royals, he became very upset. Ahead of season six’s release, a friend of Prince William revealed that he would not watch the show as it portrayed his mother in an incorrect manner. Nevertheless, the Sussexes would still be continuing with their hunt of finding better sources of income, whether it was through OTT giants or talent agencies.
