“Deeply Saddened”- Meghan Markle Pal Misan Harriman Expresses Condolences Over Tori Bowie’s Death

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shifted across the pond, they have garnered much love and support from their celebrity pals in the States. Be it for any tragedy, or a victory, the Duke and the Duchess have always got their closest associates having their back. The couple from their end also tries their level best to help uplift their friends and acquaintances. For instance, the couple’s well-known photographer, Misan Harriman, has been in the news for quite a while.

Following a deafening silence for months on end, Meghan Markle first took the helm this year as a virtual congratulatory video on Harriman’s Ted Talks. Following that, the close friend and photographer had also weighed in his two cents regarding the near-catastrophic car chase that gripped the Sussexes. In fact, he even made quite a sweet stir earlier this month. He released a just-born picture of Princess Lilibet on her birthday, surprising the fans.

The 46-year-old once again appeared on the news as he took to Instagram and Twitter to express his grief over the death of 100 meters world champion, Tori Bowie.
What did Misan Harriman speak of Tori Bowie?
“We are deeply saddened to learn the cause of death of Olympic medalist and world champion sprinter, Tori Bowie,” he wrote on his handle. According to autopsy reports, the American field athlete was eight months pregnant and in labor at the time of her death. Hence, her sad demise has been caused by implications in childbirth, said the medical reports. Expressing concern over the same, Harriman addressed how Black women are dying at an “exceedingly higher rate.” The majority of which are due to complications in pregnancy.

“We face a much higher risk of maternal death due to various reasons, including chronic stress and implicit bias from health care providers,” he added while sharing his word with the world. The aching mother in labor was found dead, alone in her home in Orange County, Florida, in the month of April. In fact, we were all unaware of the disheartening mishap. It was not until the local law enforcement conducted a well-being check on the athlete. That too follows the friends’ concerns over her inactivity for days.

Harriman’s message plunged the world into a mourning period of at least a day. It is with respect to all such brave mothers who gave up on their lives while bringing a newborn into life.
