Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have come a long way, holding each other through highs and lows of life. The duo made people believe in fairytales when they took the first grand entrance as a wedded couple through the flowered archway. Since then, these two have never shied away from showing their love for one another. At every turn, they stood strong and even made painful sacrifices to spend forever together. If fans sit down to gather all those memorable moments of this iconic pair, one day would certainly not be enough.
The former British officer, meanwhile, once gave one of the biggest testament to their love, recalling Markle’s first pregnancy at the Wellchild event.

Prince Harry attends the Well Child Awards every year, which honors the courage of seriously ill children and their families. But the 2019 ceremony marked the first time he attended as a parent himself. Having welcomed Archie earlier that year, the Duke of Sussex finally knew what it was like to have a kid in the family. So he got emotional when he took the stage to address the attendees. The father said he and Meghan Markle were expecting their first child when they attended the 2018 event.

The Spare author recalled how he squeezed Markle’s hand during the function, thinking what it would be like to become a parent. And how they would handle all the responsibilities that come with a child. “And now, as parents, being here and speaking to all of you pulls at my heartstrings in a way I could have never understood,” added the now 39-year-old.
Not to mention, he also gave a moving speech at this year’s event referring to his grandmother Queen Elizabeth, who passed away on September 8, 2022.

Last month, Prince Harry visited the UK for the WellChild Awards and took this opportunity to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. The King’s second son started the speech by saying he would try to not get choked up while talking about his grandma. The Duke pointed out his absence from the 2022 event and said the late monarch was the kind of woman who would have wanted him to attend the event instead of going to her.
He continued, “She is looking down on all of us tonight,” and seeing how they all were happy together as an incredible community. Besides this, on the anniversary of the passing of the late Queen, Prince Harry visited St George’s Chapel. The duo shared a special relationship and were very fond of each other. The late monarch had a soft spot for him as over the years they spent much time together, laughing and talking.
