Arnold Schwarzenegger is the action hero of the century, but he has also proved his acting skills through other roles. The 75-year-old entertainer recently landed on Netflix, making his OTT debut with the action comedy series FUBAR. It is currently ranked number 1 ever since its release. But this is certainly not the first time for him to ace the role of a father on screen. We previously saw the actor as a father figure in a 2015 lesser-known movie. The action aspect of it was mixed with apocalyptic times instead.

The Terminator actor is more than a muscular entity with an Austrian accent and ammunition. Even in his later years, the entertainer challenged himself by playing a father figure and fighting his enemies. The 2015 movie is called Maggie, a very interesting mixture of action and emotions, carried in the backdrop of a zombie apocalypse. Unfortunately, the movie was not taken very kindly by the audience and it received pretty average reviews. But that was a result of its theme and not the amazing acting by both Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin.

She played the titular character Maggie Vogel, who gets infected with a condition that turned a chunk of the population into zombies. Maggie could either be left to die at the Draconian quarantine system, be left to live painfully, or go home and be euthanized. Her father Wade opts for the last option, as they spend the rest of their days at home, going through emotional turmoil.

Maggie is one of the few movies where the Predator actor was portrayed in an unlikely role. It allowed him to get out of the box and prove his acting skills. Through his emotions and expression, the movie sent out a message of letting go, instead of holding on to things. Since the actor always has a message for his fans, this flick managed to send one as well.

His current show FUBAR, however, is more on the lighter side, as he plays an FBI character on a mission with his daughter. Fans are absolutely loving his portrayal. Needless to say, he has proved to be great at comedy, action, and drama projects.
