The anime community can debate all day long about what the best anime is. While there are a number of contenders that might be worthy of the title, a convincing case can be made for Naruto. The Masashi Kishimoto original manga is perhaps one of the most popular anime titles around the world right now. Furthermore, spanning nearly two decades, Naruto has cemented itself in a position of great prominence in the anime genre. Aside from awesome fights and cool world-building, the anime surely has some incredible character designs. And recently, anime fans picked out their favorite designs from the show.

We are no strangers to how big the world of Japanese animation has become over the years. Not just has the number of releases increased, but the quality of the shows has drastically improved as well. Owing to the huge content available in the genre, fans are often debating about various aspects, such as the best storyline or strongest character. Not long ago, a similar debate took place where the fans had to pick the best character designs they have ever seen. And unsurprisingly, the Naruto fans did not hesitate as they crowned Naruto’s SOSP design as the best. A user Nevis took to Twitter, sharing various pictures of the design as he captioned, “Ain’t nothing topping Naruto’s SOSP design.”

The post surely garnered huge interaction from the Naruto fans with over 8600 likes. The anime fans flooded the comments as they nodded in agreement with the decision. Furthermore, a handful even called it the Peak Design of the character. However, a few others seemed to have a different opinion. They pointed out how the KCM2 design also had the edge over the SOSP. Elsewhere, the users seemed to even side with Sage and Baryon mode over the SOSP.

There were some fans in the comments who rather preferred to choose Monkey D. Luffy and Mugetsu as well.

Throughout the course of its run, the show surely featured some incredible character designs for Naruto. Meanwhile, other characters in the show also had immaculate designs. As time continued to pass between Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden, the universe grew rapidly. And amidst the growth and development, characters were also given newer outfits.

One of the most interesting designs was of the Konan. The Akatsuki robe designs helped her stand out throughout the series. Following that, Hinata also had a few standout designs throughout the show.
